When you place an order with Rural Living you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions and your use of our web site are governed by the law of England and Wales and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts. This does not affect your statutory rights.

A contract between the customer and Rural Living for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and despatched.

Prices and availability of our goods are subject to change without notice. A delivery charge will be added to your order, please see the delivery times and charges for further information.

Your right to cancel

You may normally cancel your order (once accepted by us) for any reason up to the point of despatch. If you do cancel the contract within this time any payments made by you will be refunded in full within 30 days.

Payment

We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card or Rural Living gift vouchers. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Maestro. All transactions are shown in £ sterling. We can only accept payment in £ sterling. Currently we can only deliver to the mainland UK as standard. For any delivery requests outside of this territory please contact us on 0870 240 6514 to discuss your requirements and, if appropriate, additional delivery costs.

All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.

UK Delivery

With the exception of furniture, we aim to always hold stock. However, occasionally an item will be out of stock and if this is the case we will contact you by telephone to advise you of this.

All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change and we can accept no liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) for delivery at any time other than the estimated date for delivery.

Stock permitting, all orders (excluding furniture) placed on the web or by telephone are usually despatched to arrive with customers within 5 to 7 working days (or 3 to 4 weeks for furniture). In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the delay, the expected delivery date and confirm how you wish to proceed.

Standard delivery times and cost (excluding furniture)

Monday to Friday untimed deliveries only. Please allow 5 to 7 working days

Cost £4.95 per delivery address. Free of charge over £95 per delivery address.

For all our deliveries a signature will be required.

Furniture Deliveries

Delivery by a specialist furniture team is free of charge except IV & KW postcodes where a £25 per item additional charge will be applicable to those prices shown on the website (as per our delivery policy). Subject to stock delivery is normally within 3 to 4 weeks of order and payment. The delivery team will call you to arrange a suitable date on the nominated delivery day in your postcode and provide a am or pm slot (except remote locations). Returns of unwanted furniture will incur a £70 per item charge towards the collection cost.

Conformity Of Goods

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of going to press. However, as many of our products are handcrafted and therefore unique there will of course be variations from the images seen on the website.

Disclaimer & Limitations of liability

Rural Living Ltd shall not be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of Rural Living Ltd or any of our members, agents, directors, employees or otherwise) for any indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website, the supply of our products or their use by you.

While Rural Living Ltd uses reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information on our website is accurate and up to date, it does not give any warranty as to its accuracy or completeness and Rural Living Ltd will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information.

Rural Living Ltd ensures that all e-mail correspondence sent to our customers is scanned for viruses. However, in line with good practice we assume that you have your own anti - virus and PC security tools. We do not guarantee that any e-mail communication with us or your use of this website will be error free and we will not be responsible for any loss or damage arising out of your e-mail communication with us or the use of our website.

The entire liability of Rural Living Ltd under or in connection with any contract for any products to which these conditions apply shall not exceed the price of the products, except as expressly provided in these conditions.

Rural Living Ltd will not be liable to you or be deemed to be in breach of the contract by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of our obligations in relation to the products ordered by you if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these conditions is intended nor shall affect any of your statutory rights that may not be legally excluded.
