| Potboard (in Limestone with chrome cuphandles) This impressive potboard is a practical piece of furniture for any kitchen or a stunning sideboard for a hallway or living room. In the kitchen it offers plenty of space for storing pots/ pans or other large items on the shelf as well as valuable workspace on the solid oak top. In a living room or hall baskets can be used on the shelf which makes it a beautiful way to store items such as shoes with the two soft close drawers providing additional space. (We can supply baskets seperately if required - please call or email for further details)This is a substantial and solid piece of furniture weighing around 45 kg and utilises dove-tail joints on the drawers as well as solid drawer bottoms so it can hold up to 20kg yet still maintain its soft closing drawer mechanism. It is hand painted in 'Limestone' coloured paint. This hand painting and waxing gives a natural finish which is so much softer and more pleasing to the eye than a machine finish, or the distressed look so often used to disguise poor quality products generally found on the high street. It has taken us around 18 months to source furniture that delivers real quality, superb value and a modern country look. We standardise on the limestone paint finish as this is the most popular colour and generally available from stock. The product is made from Basswood (a derivateive of the Lime Tree) and has a beautiful solid oak top. Where appropriate marine grade ply is used for the casing. This is hand painted and waxed and the chrome cup handle comletes the modern country look. The product is delivered complete and no assembly is required.
