This is a substantial and solid piece of furniture weighing around 54kg and utilises dove-tail joints on the drawers as well as solid drawer bottoms so it can hold up to 20kg yet still maintain its soft closing drawer mechanism. It is hand painted in 'Limestone' coloured paint as per the rest of our range (not the Olive colour as pictured although this is available - call for more details on other colours). This hand painting and waxing gives a natural finish which is so much softer and more pleasing to the eye than a machine finish, or the distressed look so often used to disguise poor quality products generally found on the high street.

It has taken us around 18 months to source furniture that delivers real quality, superb value and a modern country look. Part of our 'Everyday Rural Living' range, we have key pieces on show at our Haslemere shop and these products consistently receive exceptional feedback. They truely are different from the typical high street products so often found nowadays and well worth considering if you need any item covered by the range.

We standardise on the limestone paint finish as this is the most popular colour and generally available from stock. Four other colours (red, blue, olive or undercoat only) are available if required - please call 0870 240 6514 for further details.

The product is made from Basswood (a derivateive of the Lime Tree) and utilises marine grade ply for the casing. This is hand painted and waxed and the chrome cup handle comletes the modern country look.

The product is delivered complete and no assembly is required.

Our impact on the environment is extremely important to us and we are assured that the product is produced from well-managed sources. However the only real way to know that any impact is minimised is for us to act directly and therefore for every item of furniture ordered we will plant a native British hardwood tree in partnership with the Woodland Trust.

After the delivery of the furniture you will receive a certificate confirming that a tree has been planted in your name, so you can enjoy your beautiful new purchase knowing that you have minimised the impact on the environment and increased woodland diversity in the UK.
